Does this works with ROG Ally X?

Was recently gifted an Ally X and I want to upgrade storage. I’ve watched a few videos and read stuff but still iffy since everyone uses different SSDs and some go without heatsink and some with. I don’t want to mess up the battery cable and I don’t want to spend money on this and it not work. Thanks in advance!
